Adam Nagaitis - Cornelius Hickey
Adam Nagaitis is an actor who played Cornelius Hickey on the first season of The Terror. Going into the role, he knew nothing of the expedition of the HMS Terror, nor the Dan Simmons novel on which the series is based. He stated that he was drawn into the series by the writing. In preparing for playing the character, he scanned the novel for any reference to "Hickey," only to be told by the show's executive producers to put it down, as the character they were creating was not the one from the novel.[1]
Nagaitis has worked in film and television since 2000. His other roles include the parts on the television series Houdini & Doyle and Law & Order U.K., and the films The Man With the Iron Heart and The Local.[2]
