Doña Maria was a neighbor and family friend of Luz Ojeda's abuela (grandmother), Rocio Trujillo, living in Aguayo, New Mexico. She was a Mexican American woman with a bit of a penchant for gossip.
On The Terror: Infamy, Doña Maria was portrayed by Gabriela Reynoso.
History[]
While visiting with Rocio, she noticed Luz's feelings for Chester. She encouraged Luz to tell Chester how she really felt, but Rocio told her to stay out of their business.
She was later present for Chester and Luz's wedding. As the wedding drew to a close, she was possessed by the yurei Yuko Tanabe. Chester discovered this when he examined a photo of her at the wedding and found her face to be strangely blurred, a sign of Yuko's possession. He paid a visit to her home and found her lying dead. ("My Sweet Boy")
