Executive Order 9066 was a presidential order issued during World War II. It ultimately paved the way for Japanese Americans to be sent to Japanese internment camps.

Under Executive Order 9066, the residents of Terminal Island were sent temporarily to live in horse stables at the Hidden Gate Farms. Later, they were all required to travel to the Colinas de Oro War Relocation Center. ("All the Demons Are Still in Hell")
