Kazu was a Japanese individual living in Hiroshima, Japan. He was a childhood friend of Yamato-san.
On The Terror: Infamy, Kazu was portrayed by Sab Shimono.
History[]
Kazu and Yamato-san were good friends, but fell out of contact when both were approximately 5 years old. By August 1945, they had not seen each other for 75 years.
In that time, Kazu's father decided to move to Hiroshima. There, Kazu started working for the railway at age 16 and worked there for 50 years. He married there, and he and his wife had two children, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He appeared to Yamato-san in a dream along a deserted road, telling him that they were both in the afterlife. At first, Yamato-san saw only him, but then he saw his entire family - they were all in the afterlife. Kazu's great-granddaughter turned to show him a horrifically scarred face, a result of the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima by U.S. forces in World War II, and Yamato-san awoke to the sounds of celebration outside where he was sleeping.
