Shingo Usami is an actor who portrays Henry Nakayama on The Terror: Infamy. Born and raised in Osaka, Japan, Usami also lived in Milwaukee in the United States for three years before moving to Australia. Since 2001, he has had roles in a number of TV productions and shorts, including the mini-series The Pacific and the short Gateway to the Stars. The Terror: Infamy is Usami's first major starring role in an episodic television series.[1]
Usami's character is the adoptive father of Chester Nakayama, the lead character on The Terror: Infamy.[2] Usami describes the story of the show as being not simply a horror story, but a human story regarding the terror of dealing with the unknown.[3]
