Thomas Evans is a minor character in AMC's The Terror. He is a cabin boy on HMS Terror.
In The Show[]
Evans first appears in episode 1 having dinner with Cornelius Hickey, William Strong, David Young, and Robert Golding. He is later part of burial party along with Hickey, Magnus Manson, and Sgt. Solomon Tozer for Young. Later in episode 4, he is one of the attendees at Strong's birthday. When Strong is dragged away by Tuunbaq, Evans asks Captain Francis Crozier if he can help search for his friend, Crozier refuses at first, but finally gives in telling Evans to stay with him. They both search the ice looking for Strong and when Crozier spots what looks to be a body, he instructs Evans to stay behind. However it's revealed to be a trap and Evans is killed by the creature while left alone. His severed lower body is later found by Hickey while attached to the severed upper body of Strong.
