Thomas Terry is a minor character in AMC's The Terror. He is the boatswain on HMS Erebus.
In The Show[]
Terry is first mentioned in episode 1 when Second Master Henry Foster Collins calls out to him and tells him to open Erebus' flag box. As boatswain, Terry was in charge of leading the boat that brought Sir John Franklin and Captain James Fitzjames to and from Terror. Later in the episode, Terry was seen helping Collins into his diving suit. Later in the series, Terry along with fellow boatswain John Lane are placed in charge of a small skeleton crew of men for Terror.
In The Book[]
Terry is killed and decapitated by Tuunbaq in the original novel.

- Terry's initials were found on a fork belonging to Sir John Franklin.
- The initials could also belong to Erebus able seaman Thomas Tadman.
