William Strong is a minor character in AMC's The Terror. He is an able bodied seaman on HMS Terror.
In The Show[]
Strong first appears in episode 1 having dinner with cabin boys David Young, Thomas Evans, Robert Golding, and caulker's mate Cornelius Hickey. Later that night he meets up with marine Sergeant Tozer and fellow seaman Tom Hartnell and talk about the ship's dog Neptune and the ice. Later in the episode he helps Harry Peglar and another sailor operate a saw trying to the cut the ice when Terror becomes stuck. He makes his next appearance in episode 4 where he is getting a haircut for his birthday. Despite the joyous occasion he is killed soon after and his severed upper body is later discovered by Hickey while being attached to the lower body of Thomas Evans.
